We will have room for seven people per class. If you wish to save your work from your class or the computer lab, please bring a USB drive, or you may purchase one here at our cost of $7. TASK South Gate Office TECH Center
We are thrilled to announce that TASK's TECH Center in the County of Los Angeles is now open! Services include hands-on trials of assistive technology such as adapted keyboards, switches, low tech items and more. Software for varying ages and abilities including early learning, cause and effect, reading, math, social skills, life skills, auditory processing and more is also available for trial. We also have an iPad station so you can try out different apps to suit your individual needs. A variety of adapted toys are also available to try with your children as well.
We will be offering hands-on computer training classes in Spanish as well as many assistive technology workshops on a variety of topics, these services will be posted on the TASK Flyer. TASK will be scheduling workshops and IEP clinics at all three DTS locations in an effort to broaden our reach in the community.
All TECH services are by appointment only; the available dates and times for appointments at the South Gate TECH Center are as follows:
